Aura Cacia is one of my favorite brands of essential oils. I own at least a dozen different types of Aura Cacia oils. I know the quality is excellent, because this company is a trusted supplier. It’s been selling essential oils since 1982, long before they became as wildly popular as they are today. I consider Aura Cacia one of the best alternatives to the high-priced products sold by multilevel marketing companies, which I rarely buy from anymore.
Benefits Texas Cedarwood Essential Oil
Texas cedarwood is a great oil for a beginner, or for someone looking to expand their collection. It is a very inexpensive oil because cedarwood, from which it is derived, is plentiful. Like many other oils, it has strong antiviral and antibacterial properties. So it’s a good choice for anyone battling a cold or the flu.
However, if you plan to use cedarwood or any aromatic oil for massage, you need to first mix it with a neutral, oily carrier, such as olive or coconut oil. One or two drops per teaspoon of carrier is all you need.
Cedarwood is also calming. That’s why it’s one of the most commonly recommended aromatics for people fighting insomnia. Also, it contains various compounds that can potentially help fight inflammation. This oil is sold by Vitacost, a Florida-based online health food store that sells its 45,000 items at incredible prices.
