I’m very familiar with Fabulous Frannie oils. That’s because I own a number of them, including the increasingly popular Protect formula.

This is a mix of clove, cinnamon, lemon, eucalyptus and rosemary oils. It’s the same blend of aromatic extracts found in Young Living Thieves.

The Fabulous Frannie version was called Four Thieves. More recently, the name was changed to Protect. Like the better-known YL Thieves, Protect is designed to kill germs. The first year I bought this blend, I put it in a cold-air diffuser that I kept on my kitchen counter. It ran each night during flu season.

I was very happy with Protect. I also liked the other Fabulous Frannie oils I’ve purchased. This was one of the first companies I ordered from, when I decided I didn’t necessarily need to buy MLM oils.

Fabulous Frannie is a small California-based company. It makes essential oils suitable for massage or inhalation. In addition to Protect, I’ve also tried its sweet marjoram, peppermint, cedarwood, lavender and carrot seed oils. I’ve been really happy with all of them, except for the lavender. I liked the Protect blend so much that I’ve purchased multiple bottles.

Anyway, since I’ve tried various Fabulous Frannie oils, I do think they’re a good option for someone looking to shop outside of the MLM networks. (This is how I now do most of my essential oil shopping.)

I like to talk about non-multilevel marketing brands, in order to give my readers a wide range of options. Fabulous Frannie is one of the brands I can recommend, especially for people looking for a germ-fighting formula. I was thrilled with the quality of Protect. I’ve used it to try to stay healthy in the winter. In the summer, I use it in my basement dehumidifier, because it removes the moldy smell.

Protect is something I like to have by my computer when I’m working. It contains rosemary, clinically shown to increase memory recall. I’ve even used Protect in my laundry, when I have a really dirty load.

Fabulous Frannie Oil Reviews

I definitely wouldn’t be afraid to try Fabulous Frannie, if you’re looking for an alternative to MLM oils. Here are some of the different kinds pf FF oils I’ve tried so far.

  • Protect. I highly recommend this blend of clove, cinnamon, lemon, rosemary and eucalyptus oil. I would definitely buy again. But I don’t need to right now, since I still have a good stock of it.
  • Peppermint. I loved the strong minty smell of FF peppermint essential oil. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again.
  • Sweet marjoram. I tried some FF sweet marjoram and put it on my sore knee. I don’t know if it helped, because I used so many other oils in the mix.
  • Cedarwood. This was a winner. It has a strong and wonderful smell. This is a considered a good oil for people who have trouble sleeping. At night, I sprinkle cedarwood or another aromatic oil on a tissue (or cloth) and place it by my pillow. I tried another brand of cedar, but I liked this one better.
  • Carrot seed oil. I bought this to make some DIY sunscreen, since this aromatic is believed to have a relatively high SPF factor. It seems to work for me, but I have olive skin that doesn’t burn easily. Carrot seed oil is also considered a good choice for a natural wrinkle fighter.
  • Lavender. This was a bit disappointing. It had a strong, harsh smell. Although I used my entire bottle, I’ve been much happier with other brands of lavender. This is the only FF oil I tried that I didn’t like.

So, if you’re looking for some good basic oils, here are some of the ones I’ve tried and liked.

Where To Buy Fabulous Frannie Oils

Fabulous Frannie oils are available online. I have never seen them in a health food store or at Whole Foods. The company makes a large selection of single oils and blends. One of its most popular blends appears to be its Protect formula, which I’ve personally found so many uses for.
