Do you remember going to visit an elderly relative, and every available inch of space in her tiny house was covered with tacky looking knick knacks? I had a dear great aunt who decorated this way. How I wish I could return to her house again, for just one more visit. Anyway, she would have loved these cute pups shown below.

My great aunt probably would have loved this vintage chihuahua, just as well as the teacup dogs pictured above. Knowing her, and her generous nature, she would have bought them both. Then she would tried to give one away (or both) away to her nieces and nephews, or great nieces and nephews.
Going to her house was always so much fun. She lived in a tiny cabin, out in the woods. The inside was literally covered with knick knacks. When the Avon lady came calling she couldn’t resist buying whatever caught her eye in the catalogue. I’m not sure if she actually desired to own all the little collectibles, or if she just didn’t want to disappoint the friendly sales rep, who provided companionship and a friendly ear.
